That which was, and that which is yet to come!

During the holidays, I always enjoy looking back at the year that just passed to dwell on the good, the bad and the ugly... well mostly the good : )

I enjoy remembering what I accomplished, what adventures I experienced and the people I met. Even, looking back in retrospect and see what I would have done differently if I knew what I know today. It’s almost this need to permanently engrave the good things in my memory. I don’t want to forget them; I don’t want to take them for granted.

I may not have reached all my resolutions that I made in 2010, but I sure got to do some amazing and unplanned things, met great people, got closer to others, and saw myself being able to do things that I never thought I had in me.

One of the amazing things I love to look back at is our business and our customers. We get to work with some beautiful photographs of the most adorable babies, most gorgeous landscapes, the happiest newlyweds. A great photo captures a story, story of the moment, story of the people in it. We have had the pleasure to see hundreds of stories, that can’t help but stay with me as one of those good memories that I want to keep.

We thank each and every one of our customers for choosing us to turn their photo into a piece of art that tells a story for years to come. Thank you to many of you that keep coming back to us to put your photos on canvas, and referring us to your friends and families! Thank you for our amazing growth over the past couple of years!

"Anyone who has ever had a pet knows that they become not just another animal in a household... but part of your family as well. And they will know too how devastating it is when their beloved pets die. We were lucky enough to have had almost 14 years with our dog Odie before he passed away. I remember the cloud of sorrow that filled the house for so long aferwards. I wanted to do something special for my mom, a kind of memorial to help ease her grief, and had the idea of taking one of my favorite photographs of Odie and having it blown up and framed. I went to all the big name, better known places I could think of but was never quite satisfied with the results of the proofs I was shown and was beginning to think my idea would never reach fruition. Finally there was Pixocasso. I remember not quite being able to contain my emotions when the two canvasses were revealed to me. They did 2 photographs for me and each one was more beautiful and more precious than the other. It was exactly what I had pictured when I first had the idea; better than! My mom is not a very emotional person. I think I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen her cry in my lifetime.
